For the fourth video we decided to be more specific and concentrated all our the efforts on capturing Hollywood at night. The huge amount of street billboards was a challenge almost everywhere as we didn’t want to feature neither brands nor products, therefore the content of those billboards was replaced with original digital artwork created by us.
The hyperlayers effect is achieved by simply combining two layers in post production, one with a traditional static time-lapse photo sequence and another one with a hyperlapse. A few people referred to this effect as psychodelic and another person said she would have preferred to watch our Hollywood scenes without the “freakery.”
